We started this newsletter to try to improve communication with our members.
However, the big news on the communication front is the launch of our new website which can be found at
The website has details of all competitions and events at the club as well as information for visitors and juniors.
It also has some stunning views of the golf course – Check it out.
We can also be found on Facebook and rumour has it we are about to get ANOTHER notice board.
Sunday 17th July – In addition to the Annual Par 3 competition, Barbecue and Fun Day which coincides final round of the Open we are taking part in the HSBC Hour which encourages Juniors and Families to try Golf.
Saturday 20th August – Following the Captain’s Prizes we have The Stevie T Band to belt out some Jam , Queen, Oasis etc. Full details to follow.
Saturday 18th November – Highway Jones return to the Golf Club – They almost blew the roof off last year so don’t miss them.
Scott Robertson hosts the Junior ‘Club Golf’ Sessions every Friday from 1.30(approx 1 hour).
We already have 17 juniors attending a mixture of fun tuition and competition.
It’s also great to see the Juniors out on the course again, these kids could be the future of the club.
CableTech Gala Masters was cancelled due to a lack of interest from the Co-Hosts members.
Saturday 11th June – Border Telegraph Cup.
Our second open of the year – Entry list is on notice board.
Presentation of both Telegraph Cup and Ramsay Millar Trophies will take place that evening.
Wednesday 22nd June – Gala Seniors Open (over 55).
Sunday 13th August – Kenny Stobie Club match against Melrose

WinterLeague – Bruce Currie and Brian Learmonth defeated Scott Nightingale and Jack McDonald to retain this year’s Winter League. Thanks to Bill Swatton for his continued support.
